If so, there is nothing more to be done. If the coveted placement does not succeed right away, the copywriter writes a 2nd / 3rd / 4th post (article), etc., until success happens. If, for example, we manage to write and optimize a new post within a day, this gives us a new chance every day for competitive success. Then our mission is fulfilled.

There is no answer to this because no one can make any predictions - not even the top developers at Google themselves. By the way, optimization is always at my risk, which means that free articles are written until at least one of them appears on the 1st Page of Google.
I cannot predict the scope of work for an optimization either. However, the fact is that all my optimizations have been successful - so far without exception. Therefore, I can also give a guarantee of success for Google’s 1st page - despite the theoretical prohibition of this from Google itself. Because I know that it always works, I remain relaxed and can easily handle this guarantee. It doesn't give me a headache. The only question is how many articles are required to achieve success, but not whether it will be successful.

If everything goes well, my order will be fulfilled after two to three articles. In some areas (e.g. medical websites) the number of texts required for this can increase to ten or more. It is not predictable.
